Aitchisons Have a Good First Quarter
31/03/2008
Contrary to media reporting about economic conditions, Aitchisons performed well during the first three months of the year.
While certain large city centres principally in the Midlands and the North may have seen transaction levels suffer, primarily through over supply in particular property sectors, prime towns in this location have been largely unaffected by the vagaries of the market.
Certain buyers may be finding it harder to secure the home loans they require but the need to move for a lot of people remains strong. With interest rates currently at 5.25 per cent, and pressure on them to reduce further, there are still more than enough buyers to soak up the number of properties coming onto the market, provided prices are not over inflated.
Sensible pricing is the key to selling ones existing property and being able to buy another, so with Spring upon us, there is no reason not to take advantage of the prime months ahead to move home.
