Knitivity at the Cathedral
11/12/2009
The Aitchisons St Albans office provided welcome shelter during the Christmas period to the hand knitted figures proclaiming the nativity, raising public awareness to the traditional carols sung at St Albans Abbey on the 19th December. The figures provided a real spectacle displayed in the front Aitchisons office with young children and adults alike stopping in the street for a sideways glance.

The figures will travel around shops and places of public interest to draw people to the carols on the hour services from 11pm-4pm when thousands of people turn up full of festive cheer. Local BBC Three Counties Radio are due to broadcast interviews with the Sub Dean of the Abbey and Ann Hudson, creator of the figures, plus a few well chosen words from Nick Doyle, Director at Aitchisons, who was only too please to spread the Word..........
