Walking on Fire

On 30^th November Linda Downes, manager of Aitchisons Watford office took part in ‘the ultimate challenge’, walking barefoot over a bed of hot coals which were burning at a mean temperature of 1236 degrees Fahrenheit.

The event was held at The Watermill Hotel in Bourne End and although Linda was apprehensive, it turned out to be a very inspiring evening with a two hour motivational course before the actual walk.

Pictured is Linda, completing her ordeal and we are delighted that she managed to raise in excess of £700 for the event, which will help towards the care of patients and their families by the Peace Hospice, Watford.
