Aitchisons Hits the TV Screen

09/03/2007

You had to be quick to spot it, but on Sunday 4th March 2007, Aitchisons’ St Albans office featured on BBC’s Songs of Praise.

The office was chosen by the BBC as a backdrop shot for a film about a local man named Graham Cleveland who was shown being welcomed to Aitchisons by our St Albans residential director Nick Doyle.   “Our office is in a prominent position and its attractive double fronted façade appealed to the BBC” said Nick.

Graham’s story is one of a young man driven by a desire to achieve and be successful.  After school he worked at Vauxhall where he was earning more than his peers.  He then went into financial services and enjoyed a lifestyle that went with a lucrative salary.  But a business deal went sour and Graham was forced to consider his attitude to money.   His belief in Christianity led him to set up Trinity Wealth Management, a fee-based financial consultancy run with Christian principles and ethics.  A share of all income goes to charity.

Although the BBC camera crew needed only three ‘takes’ with Nick and Graham to perfect the shot, Nick has no further plans for television stardom.
